This is a summary of changes to the Imperial Norway world that has happened last couple of months and that I am making now in September. This will be changes to the timeline and how the world itself works.

As always I try to minimize the changes I make, but only change things which I see as most important to make my story more logically consistent and entertaining.

Let me summarize before elaborating on rationale.

DOLL-2 and DOLL-3

DOLL-2 and DOLL-3 gene therapy now doesn't just cause breast to grow larger during puberty.

• Fat accumulation in body changes. Fat is primarily accumulated in boobs, ass cheeks and thighs rather than say stomach.
• Lactation expression. All women with DOLL-2 or DOLL-3 gene complex will have some minor level of milk production.
• Milk production responds rapidly to mechanical stimulation. Repeated suction and breast massage over time will rapidly increase milk production.
• Most DOLL-2 and DOLL-3 women will have their first expressions of milk production around the age of 17-19 years old. Typically centered around 18 years old.

Weapons and Vehicles

Gauss guns or coil weapons using Aluminium–air batteries has been the primary weapons for Imperial Norway in the stories. Aluminium–air batteries is also what is primarily used in military vehicles and cars in Imperial Norway. Cars have been depicted as black heavy armored vehicles. Now we add some changes:

• Combustion guns are introduced. These are ethanol powered guns. No electricity or gunpowder used. Heavy large caliber guns.
• Steam-electric hybrid ethanol cars. Previously Neo Dixie has steam-electric cars with the Psion brand. Now Imperial Norway gets them. Produced by Vereide Automobilfabrikk.

Technology

This is not directly contradicting previous discussion of technology but emphasize aspects not covered before.

• Artificial wombs for incubating children. This actually exists in the real world but for ethnical reasons not used on humans. Neo Dixie doesn't care, so artificial wombs are used for fetus from 4-5 months on.
• Neo Dixie does not have cell phones. The civil war destroyed a lot of cell phone infrastructure and the chaotic feudal warlord and gang rule of Neo Dixie has made coordination to rebuild the the network hard. Engineers who could have fixed it was typically in the white population which got chased out. Instead Neo Dixie tends to use things like radios of fixed lines. Fixed lines connect local areas for the most part. 

Ceremonies

This is not all change, since ceremonies have not been covered that much before.

• Midsummer 24th of June – Also called First Milking. Girls in imperial Norway have their breasts stimulated in their 18th year for inducing lactation. DOLL-3 makes women in Imperial Norway respond very quickly to mechanical stimulation of the breast. Just a couple of days to get milk production going. Tradition has it that girls build up their milk production for the first milking ceremony that marks transition into womanhood.
• Weddings — There is no church in Imperial Norway. In line with pagan tradition weddings are carried out in nature at sacred spots. Often forest glades and by waterfalls. Ancestral guns are exchanged between the bride and groom. This is a gun inherited from mother to daughter and father to son. Those who lack a gun will have to get one forged. Traditions says guns must be hand made and cannot be a mass produced gun.

Timeline Changes

I try to keep this minimal to avoid having major knock-on effects. Some of these changes have been in effect for a while without being explicitly stated as a change.

• 2052 July — American exchange student Tucker-James arrives in Imperial Norway in 2052 for his exchange rather than 2053. This is so he doesn't arrive in the middle of the Neo Dixie hucow war.
• 2053 January — Nora is not sent over to Neo Dixie a soldier but more like an observer in January 2053. She gets caught up in the war spontaneously breaking out.
• 2053 February — Nora status as hucow at the Jackson farm is shortened. She liberates herself in February 2053 but cannot find a way to get out of Neo Dixie, and just use the Jackson farm as a base while looking for a way out.
• 2053 February to March — Nora's reputation as the killer doll in Neo Dixie is built in the period from February to March while she is hunting down hucow rapists in the area of the Jackson farm and killing them. Her appearance becomes known in the area from the wives of murdered husbands.
• 2053 September — Shay Adley rather than Claire comes to the Carter Evans hucow farm leaving behind lock-picking equipment rather than breaking them free directly.
• 2053 October — Idun, Nora, Alvdis, Maya and Heather and the other is the Nora rescue team return to Imperial Norway around October 2053 as in novel but they are not pregnant. Instead their kids were transferred to artificial wombs in August the same year in Neo Dixie.

Rational for Changes

I cannot make boob sizes that consistent. Since boob sizes with these changes can change a lot by simply having the girls gain weight from overeating, it gives me a flexible system for allowing the girls to have somewhat variable boob size over time.

Why does DOLL-2 and DOLL-3 now give lactation? Milking has just become so central to all my storylines and characters that it has to be more readily available. The previous setup was such that girls had to become pregnant the normal way to start lactating after pregnancy. But since a pregnancy takes 9 months that simple screwed too much with my timeline.

And more importantly the way I made the Terri and Foxy story they were only ever on the hucow farm for a couple of months at a time. It had to be possible to produce milk within that time frame. 

It is also practical with the Kurebakken storyline because it allowed the girls to give milk to Tucker without being hucows. The question then is how do hucows differ from any girls with DOLL-2 or DOLL-3 complex?

Non-hucows will simply have very low milk production. But having DOLL-2 or DOLL-3 complex given the ability to greatly increase milk production through repeated mechanical stimulation such as sucking on the nipples and kneading and massaging the boobs.
