Personality

We do not know if Trude is a psychopath or not, but she does act a lot like one. She cares little about the feelings of others except her close friends such as Alvdis Collett.

Trude can be loyal to her closest friends but ready to burn anyone else. But she is also very loyal to the regime and takes pride in being a servant to the matriarchy nationalist party.

Trude is no bullshit. She tends to speak her mind in a blunt way. She holds men in low regard but empathize with women.

Trude is however susceptible to manipulation by those higher up such as Haldis Nyborg, who sees Trude as a useful attack dog for the regime.

Motivations

Trude lives to serve the regime and her superiors. She has a strong sense of duty to the regime and takes pride in following orders. That also prevents her from individual moral considerations. To Trude, good morality is simply to follow orders from superiors.

History

Trude betrays Idun Amalie Wang, and her own squad during the attack on the Carter Evans hucow farm on orders from matriarch Haldis Nyborg. This makes Trude's return to the Imperial Inquisition working next to Idun and Nora difficult. Neither have forgotten her betrayal.

However, always manipulative Haldis get her daughter to accept it by promising Nora that she can execute Trude herself later when her use has expired.
