When Vieregg moves from Gothenburg Sweden to Oslo, Imperial Norway he purchase this house at Vigdís Finnbogadóttir vei 14.

This is in a Norwegian architectural style from late 1800s and early 1900s called Norwegian Swiss Chalet Style. While it was inspired by Swiss Architecture it actually looks nothing like it.

This architectural style was envision from the start to be very Norwegian. It was in a period of a national romantic ideas. If you have seen "Viking" churches such as the Stave churches you will notice elaborate wood carvings as these were made of wood rather than stone as in continental Europe.

Outdoors

The house seen from the front.

A closeup of the garage where Idun keeps her beloved Kambo Efje car.

Behind the house you find a small beach a jetty for boats.

Foyer and Hallway

This is where you enter the house.

Bedrooms

It is a decent sized house, but I only add rooms as I need them for my videos. So only Idun and Vieregg's bedroom exist at the moment.

Idun and Vieregg's Bedroom

I made this intentionally to look more kind of regular cozy bedroom and less grand that the kind of rooms you find at Fjordvangen manor where Nora lives.

Bathrooms

The intention is that the house has several bathrooms but I only show those used in animations.

Kitchen

The kitchen is perhaps smaller than what is realistic for a house this size but it was mainly to contrast with Nora's house Fjordvangen. Anyway I thought I would prefer the house to have many interesting rooms than fewer big ones.

Rooms

Different rooms I don't have seen from different angles. These shows Vieregg's study in the tower. The living room, laundry room and workout room in the basement.
